The main objective of the project is to identify the best production areas and producer organisations, and support activities for organic cocoa production in Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Cameroon and Togo. The project will provide a detailed analysis of the value chain for niche organic cocoa markets in the four countries, as well as an assessment of the current status and opportunities for organic cocoa production and export. Finally, the study will develop an action plan for supporting organic cocoa exporters in selected areas, with selected producer groups and stakeholders.
