  • The project addresses the problem of the imbalance between supply and demand for meat products in Asia/Pacific which leads to imports of products from developed countries, to the detriment of local development. The project focuses on the dissemination and commercialisation of existing and new technologies, taking account of the specific requirements of the different countries in the region. The project also includes the production of low-cost and shelf-stable meat products, leading to the optimum utilisation of resources in meat processing and value addition.
