Moringa Partnership S.A.S. has received a grant from the African Development Bank’s Fund for African Private Sector Assistance to finance the support of micro and small businesses, small-scale farmers, small producers, associations, cooperatives and other support groups that are part of a value chain of large-scale agro-forestry companies that will benefit from investments to be made by Moringa Mauritius Fund. The support includes promoting and introducing new agro-forestry techniques, development of new value chains, strengthening capabilities of producer organizations and enhancing market access.
The Agroforestry Technical Assistance Facility (ATAF) of the Moringa Partnership S.A.S hereby invites firms to express their interest in undertaking the implementation of Component 1 of the project. The specific objectives of the assignment are the following:
- Develop a clear and actionable outgrower scheme design, including an optimized and diversified sustainable farming system to increase farms productivity and oil palm farmers‘ resilience;
- Support B-BOVID with the implementation of an efficient technical suppport structure to oil palm farmers including training and farm management advisory.
